Dr. Razit Sharma

Dr. Razit Sharma, an accomplished academician with a rich background in law and a passion for education, is working as an Assistant Professor at ICFAI Law School Dehradun, The ICFAI University, Dehradun. He has an experience of around one and half decade dedicated service in academia at U.G., P.G. and doctorate level.

He has earned Doctorate degree from the esteemed Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh and LL.M from Department of Laws, HP University Shimla. He qualified UGC-NET (Law) in 2012 and has authored three books titled, “Police Administration in India – The legal Developments” and “Law relating to trademarks: Infringement and allied aspects” and “Water Management in India-A Legal Approach” in the year 2015, 2016 & 2024 respectively.

Dr. Sharma has written several units in course work booklets of Uttarakhand Open University for the subjects namely, Patent Law, Cyber Law, and RTI. He has authored more than thirty Research papers, which have been published in Journals of International and National repute. He has presented several research papers on various legal topics in several National and International Seminars and Conferences, and has played a key role in organizing Legal Awareness Camps particularly in the rural areas across the states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
